I went into each of those folders and deleted everything that wasn't "(default)." It fixed the problem, and all the printers magically repopulated! Thank you. Maybe this file (hpb6sy2917_x64gui.dll) get damaged that's why it is conflicting with spooler files.

I knew that the Print spooler was having a problem because it would stop after a while.
Just saved me a lot of time and effort. It will ask to clean the print spooler service. My spooler was already stopped and all I did was open the command prompt and ran your delete command and voila! In general I would say it is safe to restart the service on the fly. Start > Start Search > cmd (Run as Admin) 6. An old HP1020 messed up my printing, but the steps above fixed it.
