I would suggest some other hookup method, with HDMI, at your theatre system, so you can do it somewhere other than at the PC. I'm looking for a way that when I have manually set it to another device in the list, and then shut down the pc that at the next boot it... Default Playback Device Keeps Changing Windows 10
All rights reserved. Can anybody notice? Sound & Audio How to set default sound playback deviceHi, I have system with multiple Sound playback devices. But that is a temporary solution too, because if I happen to install new drivers for my vga, I'm back to square one.
- Is there a way to make that default playback device switch automatically?

- When I'm watching a movie that has DTS audio, my Z906 will kick in and start decoding it.
- If Windows doesn't see it then it won't select it or switch to it.

Unfortunately, most motherboards ship a unique or nearly-unique audio chipset, making the problem worse. But in either case it has to be done at the PC. Zone one is HDMI and is in the living room which I use for TV, movies, music, etc. 1. Check This Out Just disable the unwanted playback option.
But I am using a monitor with HDMI.
I only use the Razer controller when using my Krakens but maybe I should just disable it until I have the need or want to use them.
