Random BSOD Screens - Logs Provided
Your Windows PC may have automatically rebooted itself, too -- if so, it probably experienced a blue screen of death when you weren't looking. This rig has had problems on both Windows 7 and 10. It found corrupted files that it could not fix. But it didn't do the usual "windows shut down unsuccessfully" thing. check my blog
Now probably in Custom Views->Administrative Events (takes a while to load), or in Windows Logs->Application or in Windows Logs->System. So I don't think that overheating is behind this. A good way to check would be to run memcheck86 which can be downloaded and written to a bootable CD or is included on the Ubuntu live cds. If you suddenly start getting blue screen errors for no apparent reason, check to make sure that the computer is not overheating. All lates drivers. I went in to disk cleanup today and the option for system error memory dumps is not there. Nothing is completely perfect -- a bug in Windows or a hardware driver could have caused the crash, and you may never see it again. I have tried doing a clean install of windows, swapping the graphics card, and running mem-test, Prime95, and OCCT for hours with no luck as in no crash/random restart. I've updated all my drivers and fixed all the registry errors I could find. One second I'll be watching a video, browsing, or playing a game then the next I'll be stuck. Why does code mutating a shared variable across threads apparently NOT suffer from a race condition? A case like this could easily cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
After a reboot, simply go view the BSoD that occurred, via Event Viewer > Windows Logs So check the logs, like when anything like this occurs. that way you can see if it does it after a reinstall, if it still does then u can go back to your proper HDD with old windows and nothing lost. Search for this message online and you'll find information that can help you identify and solve your actual problem. I gave up and pressed the power button and it instantly switched off.It took a bit longer to boot up, for some reason.
