Unfortunately, there is no easy fix for the freezing problem. Windows 10 Randomly Freezes
I followed the directions and uninstalled the specified update. Did you try what raphoenix suggested on your startup? We only use our POS on this computer, but it does have email running as it is our store account.

- Eventually I checked the (windows event viewer /administration log) which reported :error "windows antimalware" This antimalware error is related to Micro soft security essentials.
