I've already tried going to Windows Update and get Code 8024001F "You need to connect to the Internet to check for updates." 2. I have formatted and re-installed with this disk before (not on my comp though) and havent had a problem... Go back into the Device Manager, then advise what entries are listed in the Other Devices heading. I will try this in the next few days.
